We are a small family run company, and have been offering unique cultural trips in Clayoquot Sound since 2002. We are located in Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
The ocean going canoes we paddle are traditional dug-out canoes, hand carved by Nuu-chah-nulth master carvers Joe, Bill and Carl Martin.
Our Mission:
Tlaook Cultural Adventures is dedicated to quality First Nations
touring experiences in Clayoquot Sound. Our aim is to share with
our guests the beauty of Nuu-chah-nulth Culture and the environment
in which it flourished.
What our guests say:
-
Thanks for the amazing cultural and scenic trip around your waterways. Our guide was most informative and more than a tad witty! This was the best part of our trip to Tofino! - Bruce, Ontario
-
Very educational and loads of fun. Lots of good memories to take back with us. This trip was definately the highlight of our trip to Tofino. The canoe ride and hike on Meares Island were very interesting. We were especially struck by your high intelligence and commitement to carrying on the traditions of your ancestors. God Bless, Nora & Ben, Washington
- THAT MUST HAVE BEEN THE MOST EXCITING CANOE TRIP I HAVE EVER BEEN ON!!! YEE-HAW!! -Big Bear
